This is our first day in China and we met our son Tommy for the first time. As you can tell, he is a very handsome kid. He has a great personality and is smart as a whip. (I wish I could understand more of what he is saying:) We had our first meal together and he loves dumplings and noodles. We are going to go to KFC for dinner and see if he likes western cuisine. The first picture is of Tommy (he was having some fun in our hotel room). The next is of the adoption agency where we picked Tommy up and the last is a cute one of his mom and him looking at the Coy in the tank at the hotel. On a side note, we are having an easier time with getting our computer going than making a phome call. As soon as we figure out the phone system, we will be calling. Until then, we are checking this site and look forward to hearing from everyone. William and CJ, we miss you and are thinking about you all the time. Love Mom and Dad.

I'm glad the trip so far is uneventful. Things are going well here in SLC. It has been raining and we had a flood warning for the past 10 hours. CJ saw the blog and she wanted to say to you "woof-woof" and then she saw Rick and your pictures she said "mine." William says that I need to say "I miss you Mom and Dad" and I love you and am having fun with Garrett." I see that Tommy is looking happy and healthy-enjoy your getting to know him time. I do need to ask about William-he has developed a cough and had some wheezing last night so I gave him a dose of inhaler and some Motrin for the antiinflammatory properties but I can't remember if he has asthma? I will watch him but I just needed to know so I can observe him better! It is 66 degrees burrrrrr! Tonight will be our first time to sleep together and the "getting ready for school in the am" plan. It will be fun. We have had ribs, potrroast and a trip to Chuckie Cheese for 2-3 hours which was fun. CJ won a barrett and William got a frog and lizard (yes Kurt and I ate cardboard pizza)Still raining but we are doing fine-boys are getting along great! Take care and have fun! Loads of Love, Allison
